Matt first and foremost is a believer in Jesus Christ. He is married to Dana has three children Jaxson, Jerzee, and Tripp. His life revolves around his faith, family, and his passion for empowering persons with disabilities to achieve more through assistive technology. Matt also leads workshops on creating accessible content, using the various tech that is available from Microsoft, Apple and other AT companies. He has presented at Assistive Technology Industry Association, National Federation of the Blind, American Federation of the Blind, and the Foundation Fighting Blindness.

Quote: Diagnosed with Stargardt Disease was scary, and the unknown was challenging but I chose to Rise Up instead of rolling over. So many times, when we get a diagnosis, we freeze up and lose focus.
